We hope to be moved in with atleast the stuff on the first list down by November or December. I will be excited to have our first Christmas in the new house with all of our family.

I am going to end this post now so that I can go get started on gathering the things that we need to get tonight so that we can have a productive day at the house tomorrow.

25. build a whole new house

There is so much for you to do! That list would intimidate me. However, a lot of it looks very familiar. We, too, needed to install garage door openers. We bought two, looked at the instructions, realized that our marriage couldn't handle the stress, and then returned them and had Home Depot install the same kind. They did a great job.

As for some vendors, I imagine your parents have some recommendations, but I also have some. I have a locksmith who did great for a good price, a plumber I prefer, a garage repairman, and a fence builder who I would recommend. I also have an A/C guy, but that is the one thing you don't have to deal with:-)

Good luck with everything! Fixing up our house was fun at times and too stressful at other times, and I wasn't even working back then.
